Check out our new black denim castaway flip flops! These fantastic flip flops are part of our fair trade flip flops for women range. They certainly aren't your average pair of fair trade flip flops, these ones are a bit special!
Our handcrafted flip flops are produced in Kenya, Africa - with the highest quality and fair trade standards in mind. You will see we have many flip flops for women to suit all tastes. These black denim castaway flip flops are made from recycled tyres and hemp. The recycled tyre is used for the sole and hemp is used for the upper sole offering an excellent recycled product with good ethical credentials.
The project was created by Fresh Cargo and Maasai Treads and is a partnership helping both local community people in Nairobi as well as educating around the world the benefits of fair trade and recycled products. We have created a sustainable business and more importantly made the process of recycling raw materials into designer flip flops, not an easy task but we assure you a very satisfying one.
